Kilcoole Piano Lessons

My name is Mary Hanley and I specialise in providing one on one tailored piano tuition. Beginners right through to more advanced students are welcome to my friendly, relaxed yet productive studio on Sea Road in Kilcoole.

 

Tuition includes theory, technique, ear-training and sight-reading as standard practice so that my students gain a well-rounded musical experience. My goal is a student-based approach that builds on each individual students goals, abilities, strengths and weaknesses. Typical  areas of focus are exam preparation, building repertoire, perfecting technique, to mention but a few.

I have been playing the piano since I was eight years old and have retained an enthusiasm for and love of the piano which I endeavour to pass on to my students. I am fully qualified with an Associates Teaching  Diploma from the Royal Irish Academy of Music and a Diploma in Community and Group Music Teaching from the RIAM also.  I also have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Television Production from Emerson College in Boston USA and a Masters Degree in Communications from Dublin City University.
